Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the information reasonably necessary to provide and maintain Logeverything. The information we collect may include:

• Telegram account information: your Telegram user ID, chat ID, username, display name, and other basic information made available to our bot by Telegram.
• Messages sent to the bot: the income, expense, category, description, amount, date, and other transaction details you choose to send through Telegram.
• Google account information: basic account information returned during Google authentication, such as your email address and Google account identifier, when made available by Google.
• Google Sheets information: spreadsheet URL and spreadsheet identifier.
• Authentication information: OAuth access tokens, refresh tokens, authorization status, and related information required to maintain your authorized Google connection.
• Support communications: your email address and the information you provide when requesting support, submitting feedback, or requesting a feature.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above to:

• authenticate your account and connect your authorized Google account;
• convert Telegram messages into structured income and expense records;
• add, read, update, organize, and summarize information in your designated Google spreadsheet;
• categorize transactions and generate summaries, totals, and charts;
• provide confirmations, error messages, and other responses through Telegram;
• maintain your account preferences and Google Sheets connection;
• detect abuse, prevent fraud, protect accounts, and secure the service;
• respond to support inquiries, feedback, and feature requests; and
• comply with applicable laws and enforce our terms and policies.

3. Google User Data

Logeverything requests access to Google account information and Google Sheets data only after you authorize the connection through Google OAuth. The permissions requested are used to provide the spreadsheet features you initiate.

Depending on the permissions displayed during authorization, Logeverything may access the Google spreadsheets you select or authorize so that the service can add transactions, read existing records, update summaries, and maintain the custom template provided by us.

We do not use Google user data for advertising, building advertising profiles, or selling information to data brokers.

4. Your Financial Data

We process this information only to provide the features you request, including recording transactions, organizing your spreadsheet, and generating summaries. Your designated Google spreadsheet remains stored within your Google account and is also governed by Google's terms and privacy practices.

5. OAuth Tokens and Account Connections

To keep your Google Sheets integration working, we may securely store OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens provided by Google. These tokens allow Logeverything to perform authorized spreadsheet actions without asking you to reconnect for every transaction.

We do not receive or store your Google password. You can revoke Logeverything's access at any time from your Google Account connections .

Revoking access may prevent Logeverything from adding new transactions to or reading authorized data from your spreadsheet.

6. How We Share Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share limited information in the following circumstances:

• Service providers: with trusted providers that help us host, secure, maintain, monitor, or deliver the service.
• User-requested integrations: with Telegram, Google, and other services you explicitly choose to connect.
• Legal requirements: when required to comply with applicable law, legal process, court orders, or lawful government requests.
• Protection and security: when reasonably necessary to protect users, prevent fraud, investigate abuse, or protect the rights and security of Logeverything.
• Business transfers: as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate safeguards.

7. Third-Party Services

• Telegram processes messages and account information sent to the bot.
• Google provides account authentication and Google Sheets functionality.
• Our hosting, logging, security, and email providers may process limited technical or support information as necessary to deliver their services.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain your authorized integrations, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect the security of Logeverything.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information:

• account identifiers and integration settings may be retained while your account or connection remains active;
• OAuth tokens may be retained until you disconnect Google, revoke authorization, or request deletion;
• transaction messages may be retained only as needed to process requests, troubleshoot failures, prevent abuse, or meet legal requirements; and
• security and diagnostic logs may be retained for a limited period appropriate to their purpose.

Information stored directly in your Google spreadsheet is controlled through your Google account. Disconnecting Logeverything does not automatically delete information already written to your spreadsheet.

9. Security

• Encryption in transit: Google OAuth tokens, selected spreadsheet data, and account information are transmitted only over encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections.
• Limited Google Sheets access: We request only the spreadsheets scope required to read and update spreadsheet data for Logeverything. We do not request access to Gmail, contacts, calendars, or other unrelated Google services.
• Server-side secrets: OAuth client secrets, database credentials, and service credentials are stored as protected server-side environment variables and are never included in or exposed through browser code.
• No spreadsheet-content retention: Spreadsheet data are processed transiently in memory and are not persisted to our databases.

10. Data Deletion

You can request deletion of personal information associated with your Logeverything account by emailing kiranpatil.gt@gmail.com .

You can separately revoke Google access from your Google Account settings.
